“Help Me Help You”: Asking for Intros to Venture Investors

Here is a very useful Wall Street Journal blog post by Ed Zimmerman (an angel investor and venture lawyer with Lowenstein Sandler in New York).

This blog post is based on a recent talk that he gave to some Harvard Business School students on how to get introduced to potential venture capital firms for their startups. He has some very useful advice and tactics for new entrepreneurs to facilitate others to help them:

"If you’re asking me to spend my personal capital to make the intro, enable me to make good decisions that won’t waste anyone’s time."
