Arnold Lee
Managing Director
Arnold Lee is the Managing Director of CFO Growth Advisors providing leadership for CGA's team of finance and marketing professionals in the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley. He is an interim CFO with deep experience who has provided hands on financial and strategic support to over 200 startup, small businesses, as well as medium-sized and large companies.
Unlike a typical CFO, he has significant experience in entrepreneurship, strategy development, corporate finance, marketing and operations management in a wide range of industries.
He has substantial industry experience in technology (SaaS, enterprise & consumer internet, e-commerce, mobile, software, hardware) Cleantech, financial services, consumer products, food and many other industries. He is a former management consultant with A.T. Kearney (a global management consulting firm) where he was a co-founder and Manager of the firm's Corporate Strategy Practice. He also worked with Marakon Associates (a management consulting firm) which pioneered the use of corporate finance insights to drive corporate and capital strategies. He led many engagements in which he identified significant strategic, market, and customer opportunities with leading global companies: e.g., The Coca-Cola Company, American Express, Fosters Brewing, and Philips Electronics.
Arnold has an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business where he contributed research to the best-selling management book Built to Last: Successful Habits of Visionary Companies by Jim Collins and Jerry Porras. Mr. Lee also has a B.A. from Oberlin College where he was nominated for a Rhodes Scholarship.
His personal interests include music (active choir conductor), tennis, and food.
