Accel Partners Teardown - CB Insights

CB Insights has provided another detailed analysis of yet another prominent venture capital firm in Silicon Valley: Accel Partners.

Accel is know for its early, hugely successul investments in Facebook and other internet companies. The VC firm is one of the most active investors across numerous industries and has many successful exits to its name.

"Accel saw its deal volume decrease from 2012 to 2013 by 33%. With almost 100 deals in 2012, Accel’s activity dropped off in 2013. But Accel is already on track to surpass 2013’s numbers with 60+ deals in 2014."
