Half of Small Businesses Have CFO or Controller - Wall Street Journal

According to a March 2015 survey of small businesses by the Wall Street Journal and Vistage International, more than 50% of privately-owned businesses have a CFO or finance chief helping to guide their company.

This trend is increasing as the CFO role is becoming more important on both the strategic and operational sides of business in order to help a small company grow with better returns and profit margins.
